Base on my experience, it might be ur ride Front Lower Arm if sound comes from the front. if the sound came from the rear, then it's the Rear Lower Arm and Bushing...... dun tell them i said one hor. u just ask C & C ppl to check and show them the sound came from where.

I also experience the irritating "Turk" "Turk" sound at the front when doing parking...normal braking SOMETIMES have but when doing normal parking always have that sound... i myself am wondering what is the problem...

Me also driving EX 2.0 and this happens a few weeks after my 20k servicing

In my mind it is either brakes or suspension problem...hope if C&C solve the issue please do share what the technicians say about the problem

Gents, just to let u all know how to make the technician suck thumb. Just ur ride, show them wat sound and where does the sound came from. Ask them to sit inside ur ride. Don't be shy to make them even come to a extend to go near by multi storey carpark to test and show them. The last time when i went for 1k Servicing at UBI, the technician told me everythings is fine and normal. But after i tested myself, things was not yet rectify. Then i told the SE to asked their "SO CALL" Professional Technician to sit in my ride and go for a spin wif me. (ops, did i mention spin) hahaha.... During the test, i brought the Pro technician to a multi storey carpark, show them the problem. They then told me, we are not reali very proficient at the area tat i've reported. Ask me go pandan Garden to find their senior Technician to rectify the problem. WTF. After tat incident, everytime C & C Repairing my car, i will tell them. YOU DO MY REPAIR, I SIT BESIDE YOU AND WATCH YOU DO! Gents, don't get deceive by their answer. problem not solve, ask them bloody do till solve. Currently, im trying to think of a way for us, the forum member who is UNHAPPY wif their Service Attitude to give us a answer FACE TO FACE. I myself reali cant stand their Attitude already, am just waiting for a chance to make sure my warranty worth it!

Hi all,
I sent my car to C&C pandan yesterday afternoon. The guy says it is minor prob and did some servicing of the brake and now the sound is gone (at least since last nite til this morning when i drove). Hopefully it will be gone forever and not come back after a few days?
But after they service my brakes, seems that the brakes are not as sharp as before?? I dunno y too.. but at least the irritating sound is gone now..
Will drive for a few more days to hv a better feel agn..

bro, its just for temp..... after a few session of raining days, its will be back if i not wrong. u mention they service ur brake, after tat not as sharp as before. u know y? cos they applied grease to lubricate the braking mechanism, tat y when u applied brake u feel not as sharp as before and the sound r gone. and just to tell u, C & C r putting ur life at risk. Braking system r not as sharp as before, meaning wat? they just solve ur problem or sound for awhile, and putting ur braking sharpness to jeopardy? braking system is the most important things of ur ride while u driving be it anywhere. C & C, they r always full of crappy reason.

I once did complain abt under chassis sound during changing of gear. today, they just give me a call, telling mi tat, "they have tested other GT MT, also like tat, so it's normal to have such sound". my point is, when the day i collected my ride, there wasn't such sound at all. its only after 1k servicing then i realize such sound when i wind down my window smoking. now i confirm, there is more Lancer GT MT have such problem. I've just ask them u email MMC Japan whether is this problem normal??? if MMC said its normal, then i would let this matter rest by asking C & C to draft me a letter stated that if any accident(touch wood) due to that sound, I demand C & C to hold FULL responsible to it.

*Better go ask them to check ur brake, just my five cent thoughts...

bro, im not a car technician, i saying this is due to my bad experience on my previous ride(Mazda 3). after all, my advise is, go back to C & C and check if u still gotta warranty. if not, go to ur workshop, tell them to check on ur front and rear lower arm.

Think mine could be more on the calipers cos at any speed i brake, the sound comes. Will go check it with C&C on my 40K servicing period.

yup.. was in a rush n the cashier will probably be clueless anyway.
so when i got to my ride, forward and reversed a few times - no sound, ok problem fixed. could it be brake fluid?

Brake fluid shd not be a problem so long the hose is not leaking... each time when u see the fluid lvl is low.. most likely when ur brake pad finish his NATIONAL SERVICE.... it mean time to change and when u change.. the fluid lvl will go up again... Cheers

i had the same phenomenon 1 day before my scheduled 20K servicing.
gave them my feedback. now after 2 days its no longer audible.
i noticed for 20K servicing they have Menu B and Menu C to choose from. one includes the servicing of brakes while the other does not!
