Bro, it depends on where and how u insert the boost meter sensor. But like Alban said, it could be your throttle body problem too. Our turbo kicks in around 3k rpm.... but also depends on your tuning too.

Uncle, how many place do you want to post your question? :)

As replied in SLC to you:

It is quite normal for your boost pressure gauge to do what you have said in your first post. If you look at the gauge, there is negative and positive pressure.

To understand what is going on, all NA cars work on negative pressure. What this means is the pressure difference in the cylinder chamber to the intake tract. It is this pressure differences that draws air in. It is usually the norm that the highest negative pressure is seen during idling and as it gets to WOT, it becomes neutral, and the neutral is at '0' anything below '0' is negative. Positive can happen only in FIed car when the turbine forces air into the chamber. Any value above '0' is boost.

As you are driving, its normal for your car to fluctuate between negative to positive pressure as seen in your gauge, and even more so when your aircon is on.

I usually send it to C&C for cleaning. Actually you can do it yourself. All you need is 2 pieces of good clean cloth and a can of carb cleaner. Ensure that you follow the following procedure.

1. Ensure that your ignition is off. That means that the digital clock should not be showing the time. If left in the on position, there is still electricity going to the throttle body.

2. Remove the intake piping that should not be too difficult to remove. Have a can of WD40 around as you would need to spray the inside of the hoses so that you will not be struggling to fit the intake pipe back.

3. With one piece of cloth gently push the butterfly open until its WOT. leave the cloth there with a good amount of it dangling outside (so that you can pull the cloth out when you are done cleaning). with the other piece of cloth wrapped round your index finger, spray the carb cleaner onto the cloth.

4. Wipe the surface of the butterfly until clean. Keep turning the cloth to a clean surface and spray carb cleaner onto new area of the cloth.

5. Once its clean, remove the first piece of cloth that was wedged onto the butterfly. If the butterfly does not close fully, Gently push it back. Put everything back.

6. Turn the key to the on position but DO NOT START THE ENGINE. Turn the key back to the off position and wait about 10 seconds or so. This procedure will set the butterfly back to its original position.

7. Start the engine.
