Dear All,

Recently encountering engine vibration during idling or stopping during red light with gear engage. the vibration is stronger when aircon cuts in and out. is it throttle body dirty ? or slow timing problem ? anyone knows ?

sry to dig up an old thread, have read around the forum abt our erratic idling during stationary @ gear D. Mounting have been changed, throttle body chemically cleaned, engine oil just changed. The vibration gets stronger and stronger each time till i tot the engine is going to stall. Any bros here can help?

I also encourage this problem recently half way stop at traffic light and the engine dies off I wonder what wrongs and when to workshop twices but problems still occurs ... Any bros here got any ideas or is it this batch of cvt having this problems ...

i heard from few fellow dealers that cs3, especially with cvt gearbox have mounting prob, is quite common, the next servicing u can ask ur mechanic to change ur mounting, think costs 200-300. should be able to reduce the vibrations. correct me if im wrong bros n sis.

eh bro, cs5 uses invec-II not cvt, i think the prob lies with our GDI engine with e-throttle, super ex and sensitive throttle body.

solved by Friendly Jo from CH motors! old plugs and old batt.

Mine just came back from CH last week after the TB being cleaned by them.
Stationary, rpm is high and according to them, it will go back to normal after a few days. Now, it's still a bit high, I removed my batt to reset ecu but it still a bit on the high side. Guess need to look for Big friendly Jo again.

Big friendly Jo helped me reset the ECU. rpm idle at 700 to 800. aircon cut in 600++

just carry on to clean the o2 and map sensor
