Hi All:
need you advise.

When moving off, i release the clutch a bit , the car starts to move, then i lift up my left leg further, the scratch sound comes out.

i dont think the clutch worn out, because i can feel the biting point at a very low position.

any ideas?

thanks.

Ok updates

For my case i just change my clutch 2mth ago and i went to Jo today and ask him to check and test drive he mention to me that thi sis becuase the Fly Wheel is not even and so that why it is causing some sound.

I also ask him how to fix this he mention also either you take out the fly wheel and skim it even or u can leave it wait till ur clutch get more old.

He mention also it will not cuase any major issue.

Side Note : Old car(My car 5years old) fly wheel tend to be not even so it will cause some sound

Same prob here..and i was told by an expert that its the cause of the bearing maybe due to driving over a flooded place bcoz my car is very low..

Lubricating it is a short term remedy.

for me the scratching feeling comes only when I depress the pedal.. not when releasing.. different right?

I've been having this problem also.. Ah boon just told me to control my clutching abit more precisely (clutch out neither too slowly nor quickly), and this has kept the scratching noise at bay for most of the drives.

But my bigger concern is, would it be alright to leave it as is? The article above mentions the situation potentially getting bad engh to need to change flywheel too.. So serious ah?

And has anyone gone and solved this with a new clutch or such change?

depress pedal is engaging clutch. press pedal then clutch disengage. mix up ler. haha
