Have tried the Hankook V12 Evo before, i would say it a good compromise between noise and grip (performance).

I like the RE001 as well, but feedback says the thread wear rate on this baby is very high. Very fast botak one.

Whats your requirements bro? Would be easier to recommend if we know what you want out of your tires. Performance? Slience? Wet weather performance?

    Hi Bro Dihudaxia,

How's the wet weather performance for V12 Evo? Overall the tyre is value for money? Am looking at this tyre too.

Alright. Here are my criteria. What will be good for me. Currently on Falken ZIEX912. Everything is excellent except that they wear pretty easily.

    - Performance and it's okay to be noisy.
    - Good grip in dry and wet.
    - 215 45 17
    - Willing to pay up to 250 per pcs.
    - Good if someone can recommend a workshop which will top up nitrogen for free after the purchase of the tyres. I only know Stamford has this.
    - (Optional) Free tyre patching.

I did not manage to test this out in the wet although my friend managed it.
He did give good comments as his current tires are RE001.

According to him, the V12 performed very close to the RE001 in both dry and wet. Very slightly losing out to RE001. However the noise was less than the already quiet RE001 and the price is about $30 - $40 a piece cheaper.

Thats why IMO, this is a good value for money tire.
If you rather more dry grip (sacrifice wet grip) then the S1 EVO is also worth considering.

Should look at the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric. Made in Germany. Overall ratings very solid. Compared to the normal F1 with the V thread this one the performance is damn solid.
